When you have data that you would prefer to remain private, you must turn to specialized software applications to secure said data. One such specialized software application is the YIYOUSOFT-developed SuperEncryptor which will encrypt and password protect files and will hide encrypted files inside other files.

The SuperEncryptor installation file is of 4.7MB. The installation process goes along smoothly and rapidly; all you have to do is follow the steps presented by a setup wizard and you are done in no time at all. SuperEncryptor’s requirements are incredibly low: Pentium 2 processor or better, at least 128MB of RAM, 8MB of free disk space, any Windows edition from 98 up to Windows 7.

The application’s interface is focused on ease of use, on making it easy for the user to take advantage of the functionality SuperEncryptor has to offer. There are big, colorful buttons at the top for SuperEncryptor’s main functions, and a dual pane file explorer below.

As mentioned above, you can use SuperEncryptor to encrypt and password protect files. For the encryption part you can choose between AES, DES, 3DES, and the Blowfish algorithm. For the password protect part, you can type in a traditional password (6 digits minimum, 256 digits maximum), choose a keydisk, and use a keyfile. Even if your password is compromised, the file cannot be decrypted without the keydisk.

With SuperEncryptor you can also hide encrypted files inside another files, and it can hide, password protect and lock folders (when it’s locked, it cannot be renamed, copied, or deleted).

If you’re going to send a SuperEncryptor encrypted file to someone, you can pack the encrypted file into an exe file. Just run the executable, provide the correct password, and the file will be decrypted.

When you no longer need a file, you obviously delete it. The thing is that deleted files can be brought back with data recovery solutions – and that won’t happen if you take your privacy seriously. SuperEncryptor has a handy feature that lets you securely delete files and ensure they won’t be brought back to life by data recovery tools.

You have a total of 30 days to try SuperEncryptor for free. Once that trial period is over, you will have to get a license to keep using the application.

If you care about your privacy and want to prevent unauthorized access to your files and folders, get SuperEncryptor. It can password protect and encrypt files, hide and lock folders, and it can safely delete data.

Pros

Simple installation process; you can install the application on just about any Windows-powered machine since the system requirements are quite low. Easy to use interface with nice, big, colorful buttons; choose between several skins. Password protect access to the SuperEncryptor application. Encrypt and password protect files; password protect, hide, and lock folders; securely delete files.

Cons

You can use SuperEncryptor for free for an evaluation period of 30 days.
